Oh that is funny. I was there a few months ago myself when I knew the sw would be here soon and I wasn't concerned with dishes in my sink. It is freeing- right? Hope the visit goes well.
Hey, at least the towels are clean. For that matter, you should put the caseworker to work folding FOR you next time!
I knew a foster mom once who would ask the SW to help her give her kids baths (the SW insisted on crack-of-dawn visits before the kids were regularly up, fed and dressed for the day, so the foster mama figured she'd give the sw incentive not to come so early *grin*).
I enjoy spirited debates just as much as pats on the back. Feel free to grab your soapbox and let 'er loose ... realizing, of course, that I am in charge of the all-powerful DELETE button. :-)

ReplyDelete[smile] We've only had the social workers over for our home study... so I'm still about as green as they come.

So funny. I've caught myself doing the same thing!
ReplyDeleteHow did the visit with the SW go today?
