... and I'm addicted to cloth diapers.
Who knew that something so simple would create such an obsession? Who knew that something designed to catch youknowwhat could be so much fun?
Having a new baby--a baby girl, might I add--in the house has made this obsession all the more virulent. Turns out that no, I am not above forking out money for pink diaper covers that would be rendered completely useless on a male child. Gender neutral? Yes, please. But can you throw something pink or frilly in there, too?

Admitting you have a problem is the first step toward recovery. Be strong!
(For real, my word verification is "quitypee".)
I'm going to try out cloth diapers for the first time tomorrow! I had been planning to use them all along, but my girl was a preemie and cloth diapers were way too big for her at first. She's 9 weeks old and over 7 lbs now (I think), so the cloth diapers will finally fit!
I KNEW you'd go pink, even if you DID judge me for doing it back with Girly Pie. It's just too dang hard to resist, isn't it? ;o)

Love it!!! I can't wait to get to use cloth diapers. Maybe I should start saving now.
I understand completely ... I *despise* the color pink, as well as anything remotely frilly, but I'm a first time mother to a 3-month-old baby girl, and, well, let's just say that she's wearing lots of dresses and lots of pink and it isn't just because those were the gifts we happened to receive.
I'm also learning my way around cloth diapers, which I'm developing a fondness for--although that fondness disappears (temporarily) very quickly with every poopy diaper!
