Yes we can!

You can live for a week without internet access.

You can stand at a sink full of soapy water and dirty dishes and not wonder what your facebook friends are thinking.

You can get out of the habit of jotting down blog topics in your centro.

You can make it through the day without running up to check your email.

Give it a try. It's liberating.

Sounds like you have just enjoyed what I've been living the last couple weeks. I'm glad to be back online, but it was a delight to be without it for a couple weeks.

It's amazing how freeing it is.

I'm still not back up to warp speed on the computer time since returning home myself. I'm with you: windows of solace are a much needed blessing from time to time.

Hm. Perhaps I'll twitter that.

WHAT? LOL. Actually, I'm getting this message from many sources...I have no choice but to believe I need to take a break. Soon. I just need to plan for it. As in a) not have eBay auctions pending b) get a birthday party planned c) figure out how to let everyone know that I will be ignoring them intentionally in this realm.

Well, I'm sure I could... but why would I want to? [laughing]

I do almost all of my work online nowadays, so I won't be unplugging unless I'm out camping on vaction... which I still haven't found time to do yet. But I will... someday [smile].

I'm pretty much with Luke on this one. Most the time on Sundays, I don't turn on the computer but the kids may have it on for games.

I'm more likely to do half day fasts and simply write down on a sheet a paper what I need for *when* I get online.

I am sure I can, but it is SO hard!! Actually I do need to take at least a short internet fast soon and get things around the house in order for our homestudy, if it ever actually happens!
