TOS Review: The Amazing Bible World History Timeline

Dear Amazing Bible World History Timeline,

Where have you been my whole life? Do you have any idea how much I needed you while I was attempting to piece together some form of cohesive flow from the terrible mish-mosh of historical highlights I was force-fed as a student? I'll try not to be angry, but the truth is, I feel like you were holding out on me. There was really no reason for me to re-educate myself as an adult; the information was out there. And with you, it's just so accessible! A visual spiral, lining things up right where they belong; literally slipping the reign of Nero just alongside the life of Paul, conveniently staggering the American Revolution with the one in France, overlapping Homer and King Solomon. You are brilliant.

My kids have been working on timelines of their own since they were five. But you ... you belong to me, Amazing Bible World History Timeline. Six thousand years of world history on one huge, stiff, laminated 38"x46" poster. Color coding. Fully referenced. Absurdly priced. $29.97? Don't you know you're worth so much more? Every homeschool needs you--and I don't say that lightly.

Thanks for hanging on my wall. I look forward to using you on a daily basis for oh, the rest of my life.

Mary Grace

Hmm, this is tempting. I'm bad with dates and keeping straight The Big Picture and this might be just the thing...

Oh my giddy ant....

THIS looks AMAZING. I am seriously coveting. :) I have tried, tried, tried, to work the timeline book from my favorite place and even now 5 years later - it's still awkward. Sigh. I'm sure it's me...

But THAT looks incredible...Does it seem pathetic to ask for that for Christmas for ME for my homeschool??? :)

LOVE your reviews...you are one smart cookie - and boy are you going to have a lot to pack. :)

The Bible is a compendium of fire side tales and fables,
recounted orally for generations by goat herders and primitive tribes from the stone age,
until writing was invented,
and then again many different sources, transliterations, and versions were copied and written down.
There were no grand central universities to organise the many various versions of these origin/creation stories, stories common to most primitive cultures.
They were for entertainment (as in all migratory camp tribes),
and to answer the questions of the many fears and mysteries of our universe, like 'thunder' and earthquakes, since there was no science yet.

This is the old Testament.

The ‘new’ Testes is also hearsay since these letters, ‘gospels’ and stories were written by the loyal faithful, the camp followers,
not by objective historians at that particular time,
or by any contemporary writers,
and these tales were written many years after the supposed events of this mythical Jesus.

Thus, there is no verifiable evidence of a Jesus in real documented history.

Then, many of these stories, but not all, were compiled for one self-absorbed converted Roman Emperor in his Nicean Council, for his expressed purpose of conquest and control of the people of Europe for his Holy Roman Empire.
He recognised that this was the perfect religion/mythology for the future domination of the populaces.
Half of the stories were ignored by the Nicean Bishops and none have been proven to be based on fact.

This ‘Bable’ book is backed up by absolutely no facts and no evidence.
It is not proof for any gods....(or of any jesus...)

Teaching this crap to children is Child Abuse....
