I can't wait to read as the details unfold. It is delightful to hear such news.
We are walking this path as well. Our now 19-month old adoptive son has been with us 5 months and adds great joy. Our 10-month old foster baby had his TPR hearing last week where his biological Mom relinquished. Now waiting for Dad to do the same. Prayerfully.
What a journey you will be experiencing. I pray that your path is straight and filled with much joy!
Wow!!! I was about 6 posts behind in my reading, so I got all of this development in about 5 minutes!! I'm so excited for y'all.
Our permanency hearing for the 18-month-old girl we're trying to adopt keeps getting put off (a month at a time), but the next one is scheduled for Feb 18.
Hopefully, we'll be able to move forward with that very soon.
It's the legal process by which children are freed for adoption. Without TPR (or a relinquishment of rights), that child is not available for adoption.
