I'm a writer and a homeschooling mom. What could possibly go wrong?
Mary Grace - Just a lurker here. I am so happy for you. Will be praying and can't wait to hear more as things progress.
I so happy for you! I know you've been wanting this for so long!
This is so exciting. I thrilled for you. Congrats on being a new Mommy again!
Wow! Congrats and welcome back to toddlerville.
How exciting!!!(What is TPR?)
I can't wait to read as the details unfold. It is delightful to hear such news.We are walking this path as well. Our now 19-month old adoptive son has been with us 5 months and adds great joy. Our 10-month old foster baby had his TPR hearing last week where his biological Mom relinquished. Now waiting for Dad to do the same. Prayerfully. What a journey you will be experiencing. I pray that your path is straight and filled with much joy!Blessings,Laura
Wow!!! I was about 6 posts behind in my reading, so I got all of this development in about 5 minutes!! I'm so excited for y'all. Our permanency hearing for the 18-month-old girl we're trying to adopt keeps getting put off (a month at a time), but the next one is scheduled for Feb 18.Hopefully, we'll be able to move forward with that very soon.Exciting stuff!! :) :) :)
Woohoo! Awesome! Ok, ok, so what happens now??
By the way, Karla:TPR = Termination of Parental RightsIt's the legal process by which children are freed for adoption. Without TPR (or a relinquishment of rights), that child is not available for adoption.
Wow, MG! Exciting stuff! Can't wait to hear more!
