The other shoe

...has dropped.

Dh will be unemployed as of January 1.

Hard to think about much else, so forgive me if my blogging sinks to an all-time low in terms of both quality and quantity.

I will be utterly transparent and admit that I care about not much else right now, here, in the moment, TODAY other than making sure that this sudden development in no way interferes with adopting Oliver and Manolin. All else pales in comparison, as you can probably imagine.

We will survive. We will move forward. God WILL provide.

I just pray that the provision includes the two little men I've come to love so deeply.

I am praying right now that the Lord will keep those children in your home until they grow up.

I don't see an Amazon Honors system, tip jar, or other link. Do you have one? Or an Amazon Associates link to do my Christmas shopping through?

Praying that things will turn around quickly and those babes will come home safely to their mama.

"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; NOTHING will harm you!"
Luke 10:19

"The Lord will keep you from all harm--he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

Oh MG, I am so sorry! Eric has been laid off 3 times in our 10 years of marriage. Each time it was so scary but the Lord brought us through, and even blessed him with a better job than he had before. I'm praying it will be the same for your family, and that your two little ones stay right where they belong--with you!

I will be on my knees for you and your family. May the God of all peace make His presence known in a new way this day, this moment. And may you be centered enough to feel His arms around you...all.

I am praying for peace during this time as you wait to see what the Lord has in store.

I also pray that your precious little ones' placements will be secure with the family who loves them so much.

May God give you the security that comes only from Him in these uncertain times. He is our provider...He sees, He knows, He cares!

We have never endured a trial that didn't turn out to be a blessing. God is certainly in this.

But you knew that!

Prayers from one who has been there!

I will be praying, the same thing happened to our family last January!

God brought a long a more consistance, lower paying job, but he has provided along the way.

Jeremiah 29:11 say it all.
You are on my heart and in my prayers! GOD WILL PROVIDE!

You KNOW God is bigger than this. It gives HIM a way to make that absolutely clear. I can't wait to hear what HE does!

Mary Grace,

Your family will be in my prayers every day, and I will be praying especially hard that Oliver and Manolin will become a permanent part of your family.
